February 7, 2025 - Notice is hereby given that a Regular meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 12th of February, 2025 at 9:30am in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve the minutes of: January 8th Regular Meeting, January 8th Workshop Meeting, January 15th Special Meeting, January 22nd Special Meeting and January 29th, Special Meeting.
2. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
3. Approve and pay current payroll.
4. Approve Officers Report.
5. Public comments on Agenda item.
6. Acknowledge and record 2024 Certificate of Compliance Continuing Education for County Treasurer Ann Blackwell.
7. Acknowledge and record 2024 Certificate of Compliance Public Funds Investment Act for County Treasurer Ann Blackwell.
8. Discuss and possibly approve Shelby County’s inclusion within the requested service area of the Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) for the Texas Forest Country Partnership application and authorization to expend $1,636.00 to pay Shelby County’s portion of the fee to the consultant.
9. Discuss and review a proposal from Verizon for tablets (iPads) for Commissioners Court.
10. Discuss purchasing and installation of a dump bed on a Mack truck for PCT 4.
11. Discuss and possibly provide a patrol vehicle for the PCT 5 Deputy Constable.
12. COMMISSIONER’S COURT REPORTS: These are for informational purposes only. Any action that needs to be taken on the basis of these reports will be placed on a future agenda for action.
