March 5, 2026 - Notice is hereby given that a Regular meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 11th day of March, 2026 at 9:30am in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve the minutes of: February 4th Special Meeting, February 11th Regular Meeting, and February 25th Special Meeting.
2. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
3. Approve and pay current payroll.
4. Public comments on Agenda item.
5. Approve Officers Report.
6. Representative from KSA Engineers to present to the court the “Award Bid” for Roadway Improvements Project No. 101647 Rose Hill Road.
7. Appoint Rowdy Green, as the Constable of Pct 4, to fill an unexpired term ending 12/31/28.
8. Administer the Oath of Office to Rowdy Green.
9. Open sealed bids and possibly award bid for (1) Surplus Bridge offered by PCT. 1.
10. District Attorney, Karren Price to address the Court regarding the need for additional storage space on the office computers.
11. Record the Reconstruction Authorization and Payment Agreement from SERVPRO.
12. Discuss and possibly approve the proposal from Architexas in the amount of $3,000 plus reimbursable expenses for Grant application services for the Texas Historic Courthouse Preservation Program.
13. Discuss and take action on the current Burn Ban.
14. Discuss and possibly approve the quote received from Americlock for the repair of the 4-sided post clock located at the current Shelby County Courthouse.
15. Commissioners’ Court Reports: These are for informational purposes only. Any action that needs to be taken on the basis of these reports will be placed on a future agenda for action.
