May 7, 2026 - Notice is hereby given that a Regular meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 13th day of May, 2026 at 9:30am in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve the minutes of: April 1st Special Meeting, April 8th Regular Meeting, April 15th Special Meeting, April 22nd Special Meeting and April 29th Special Meeting.
2. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
3. Public comments on Agenda item.
4. Approve Officers Report.
5. Eric Lawrence with Shelby County Appraisal District to address the Court regarding the correction of quarterly entity payments to the Appraisal District.
6. Discuss and possibly approve the technology quote as presented for Computer upgrades for the office of Constable Pct 5 to be compliant with CJIS Standards.
7. Discuss and possibly act upon awarding the Construction/Proposal Contract for the Shelby County Historic Jail Window Restoration Project. (RFP #2026-01)
8. Discuss and possibly approve the Order authorizing the sale of fireworks during the Memorial Day period beginning Wednesday, May 20th and ending at midnight Monday, May 25th, 2026.
9. Commissioners' Court Reports: These are for informational purposes only. Any action that needs to be taken on the basis of these reports will be placed on a future agenda for action.
