October 25, 2024 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 30th of October, 2024 at 9:30am in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve Weekly Expenses.
2. Public comments on agenda item.
3. Discuss and possibly approve adoption of the Jury Selection Plan for Shelby County.
4. Discuss and possibly approve the quote from McWilliams and Sons for repair of the main sewer line at the County/District Attorney office to correct plumbing issues.
5. Discuss and possibly grant a waiver from the Burn Ban to the City of Timpson with TCEQ approval and subject to all required safety restrictions and standards.
6. Discuss installing handicap ramps on certain sidewalks to provide more access points for handicap accessibility.
7. Commissioners’ Court Reports: These are for informational purposes only. Any action that needs to be taken on the basis of these reports will be placed on a future agenda for action.
