September 1, 2023 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 6th day of September, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
2. Public comments on Agenda item.
3. Discuss and consider the Declaration and Order Prohibiting Outdoor Burning.
4. Sherry Riley to give an update on the Veterans Service Office.
5. Discuss and possibly accept the payment of Capital Credits in the amount of $24,993.23
6. Discuss and possibly take action to disperse the Capital Credits for the FY2022.
7. Discuss and possibly approve the donation of 2 Dumpsters from Tyson to be utilized during the burn ban.
8. Discuss and possibly approve projects at the Historical Courthouse, consisting of repair, scraping and repainting the first floor ceilings and replacement of first floor light fixtures.
9. Adjourn.
