April 27, 2021 - My name is Joe Tom Schillings and I am running for Shelbyville school board.
I enjoyed thirty-nine years at Shelbyville ISD as a teacher/coach. I learned something from every teacher, every student and every player that I coached and taught. At the same time I learned many things about the school system.
Using this knowledge positively, I am currently serving my school/community as a SISD board member and have been for 12 years. I will continue to support what’s good for our community and students both in academics and sports. I desire the best for our students, teachers, and employees at Shelbyville.
