September 3, 2024 - Scrap Happy Quilters monthly meeting is Saturday, September 7th from 9am until 12 noon at the James-Antioch Community House.
The group is still working on lap quilts as Christmas gifts for the residents of Focused Care in Center, as well as Quilts of Valor for our Veterans. Kits are available and may be taken home and returned at our next meeting.
If you have a project you are working on at home, feel free to bring it and work on it. Bring your sewing machine and supplies like any other class you would take and join the fun. New members welcome.
Members are providing these quilts at their own expense. If you wish to make a monetary donation, or have fabric to donate, please contact Margaret Smith at smithm926@aol.com and type in Quilts of Valor in subject line.
James-Antioch Community House is located at 348 FM 2608, Center, Texas 75935. Directions from Center: Take Highway 7 East toward Joaquin and turn right on FM 2608 at the James Store. The building is about 1/4 miles on the right or 1st driveway past CR 3210.
