SCT Viewer Shares Image of Veteran's Tag on Traveling Memorial

July 23, 2015 - Ashley McGhen and her husband, Charles, recently moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming from Texas. After their move they visited Lyons Park in Cheyenne where the Cost of Freedom Traveling Memorial was setup on Saturday, June 27th.

The traveling memorial is a tribute to Vietnam veterans as well as other war veterans. The couple found the name of Army Spc. Cory Bertrand, from Center, Texas, on the memorial and took a photo to share.

The American Veterans Traveling Tribute was in Cheyenne, Wyoming from June 24th through June 28th. Since then the wall traveled to Twinsburg, Ohio and on July 31st will be in Sturgis, South Dakota until August 9th. The American Veterans Traveling Tribute (AVTT) honors and pays tribute to all veterans, law enforcement, and firefighters for their service and sacrifices to our country. AVTT has a mission to build a tribute in Texas as a permanent memorial to all those who have served while paying specific tribute to those from Texas.
