January 7, 2021 - Commissioner Tom Bellmyer reports, despite challenges from the weather, repair to the bridge on CR 4849 has been completed and the roadway is back open. Thank you for your patience during the time it took to make the repairs.
January 4, 2021 - Shelby County Commissioner for Precinct 4 Tom Bellmyer has closed a section of CR 4849 between CR 4861 and CR 4872 due to a truck which has broken down and damaged a bridge on January 5.
The location is near the county line with Panola County. At this time the section of road is closed until further notice for the truck to be removed and repairs to be completed.
