December 6, 2024 - Notice is hereby given that a Regular meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 11th Day of December, 2024 at 9:30am in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
Notice is hereby given that a Regular meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 11th Day of December, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve the Minutes of the following meetings. 11/6/24 Special Meeting • 11/13/24 Regular Meeting • 11/20/24 Special Meeting and 11/27/24 Special Meeting.
2. Public comments on Agenda item.
3. Approve Weekly Expenses.
4. Approve Officers Report.
5. Announce the appointment of Shannon Metcalf, as the Commissioner of Precinct 2, to fill the remainder of the term of office.
6. Administer Oath of Office to Shannon Metcalf.
7. Announce the County Offices closing on Friday, December 20, 2024 from 12:00 noon until 1:30, for the Annual County Christmas Luncheon.
8. Discuss and possibly accept a donation of concrete construction debris for PCT 4.
9. Discuss and possibly change the Commissioner’s Court meeting dates of Wednesday, December 25, 2024 and Wednesday January 1, 2025 which are County Holidays.
10. COMMISSIONERS’ COURT REPORTS: These are for informational purposes only. Any action that needs to be taken on the basis of these reports will be placed on a future agenda for action.
