August 2, 2024 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 7th day of August, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve weekly expenses.
2. Public comments on agenda item.
3. Open and review bids for Belly Dump Trailers to be purchased through ARPA Funds. Possibly award bid if all requirements are met and acceptable bid is received.
4. Tax Assessor- Collector, Debora Riley to submit 2024 calculated rates.
5. Discuss and take action to retain or remove local optional fees, for the calendar year 2025.
6. Discuss and possibly take action to end or renew the yearly contract with Computer Information Concepts for the Tax Office.
7. Discuss and possibly approve the Sheriff’s Department to request bids for (4) 2024 Ford F-150 trucks to be paid from SB 22 Grant Funds.
8. Update on the Rapid Radios purchased for the Constable’s in last week’s meeting.
9. Commissioners’ Court Reports: These are for informational purposes only. Any action that needs to be taken on the basis of these reports will be placed on a future agenda for action.
