October 13, 2023 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 18th day of October, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
2. Public comments on Agenda item.
3. Record the FY2023 Shelby County Jail Commissary expenditure audit per Local Government Code 351.0415.
4. Discuss and possibly approve a VOIP telephone connection for the Shelby County Elections Administrator’s office to be set up by Pineywoods Telephone and authorize the County Judge to sign the Acceptance of Terms authorizing the system.
5. Discuss and possibly approve the Affidavit of Fact regarding a 1958 county road easement which has been abandoned for many years and quitclaiming the rights, title, and interest in the easement to the property owner.
6. Adjourn.
