November 8, 2024 - Notice is hereby given that a Regular meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 13th day of November at 9:30 am in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve the Minutes of the following meetings: 10/9/24 Regular Meeting • 10/16/24 Special Meeting • 10/23/24 Special Meeting • 10/31/2024 Special Meeting
2. Public comments on Agenda item.
3. Approve Weekly Expenses.
4. Approve Officers Report.
5. Canvass votes for the November 5th General Election.
6. Discuss and possibly approve a Resolution adopting a Technology Policy for applications prohibited on governmental computers and mobile devices pursuant to Texas Senate Bill 1893.
7. Representatives of the Sheriff’s Department, County Judge, and Commissioner Bellmyer to report on the November 7, 2024 mandatory meeting with the Texas Commission on Jail Standards held in Austin on November 7, 2024 regarding the Non-Compliance of the Shelby County Jail.
8. Discuss and possibly accept a bid proposal on road materials that was inadvertently placed in the mailbox of the Tax Office instead of the Commissioners’ mailbox.
