January 30, 2026 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 4th day of February at 9:30am in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve weekly expenses.
2. Public comments on Agenda item.
3. Discuss and possibly approve mileage rate change for 2026 in accordance with IRS Standard Rates.
4. Presentation of the TDA Form A1024 CDBG Section 3 Program Goals Presentation for the TXCDBG Project CDV23-0261. (Rose Hill Road Project)
5. Open sealed bids for (1) 12x24 portable building offered by PCT 4, review and possibly award bid.
6. Discuss and possibly approve the quote for (1) 2024 Police Interceptor truck to be used primarily for transport.
7. Update on the Courthouse repair and reconstruction project and possibly approve change orders regarding the project.
8. Commissioner Bellmyer to give the Court updates on the storm recovery and clean up in PCT. 4.
9. Emergency Management Department to give the Court updates on the storm damage and recovery.
10. Commissioners' Court Reports: These are for informational purposes only. Any action that needs to be taken on the basis of these reports will be placed on a future agenda for action.
