September 13, 2024 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 18th day of September, 2024 at 9:30 in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve weekly expenses.
2. Approve Officers’ Report.
3. Public comments on Agenda item.
4. Take action to disburse the Child Safety Fee Fund.
5. Open sealed bids for (1) Sheriff’s Office vehicle, review and possibly award bid.
6. Discuss and possibly approve Sheriff’s and Constables’ Fees.
7. Discuss and consider approval to renew the Interlocal agreement with the City of Timpson for the Constable Deputy to serve under the Constable Pct 5.
8. Discuss quotes received for a gas generator for the County Courthouse and possibly purchase.
9. Discuss and possibly set a Commissioners Court Meeting for Monday, September 30, 2024 to close out the FY 2023-2024.
10. COMMISSIONERS’ COURT REPORTS: These are for informational purposes only. Any action that needs to be taken on the basis of these reports will be placed on a future agenda for action.
