October 24, 2024 - The Shelby County Military Bands, including the esteemed Shelbyville Dragon Band, the spirited Timpson Bear Band, and the energetic Center Roughrider Band, are set to showcase their musical talents in the upcoming UIL State Military Marching Band Contest. This highly anticipated event will take place at McLane Stadium in Waco, Texas, on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.

Ticket Information
- Single Session Tickets: $20 plus fees Double Session Tickets: $35 plus fees
- Double Session Ticket Options: Sessions 1 and 2
Tickets are available for purchase at Gate C Main Entry. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early to avoid congestion at the doors. The Box Office will open 75 minutes prior to first performance of the day and doors will open 45 minutes prior to the first performance in each session.

Performance Schedule:
The bands will perform in the following order:
- Shelbyville Dragon Band: 9:15 AM
- Timpson Bear Band: 11:00 AM
- Center Roughrider Band: 2:30 PM
Additionally, there will be a Drum Major Retreat and announcement of finalists. Should any of the bands qualify for the finals, they will have an opportunity to march again, with the specific order and times yet to be determined.
