Shelby County Outreach Ministries Recognizes Hunger Awareness Week

June 2, 2017 - (Flyer) - The second week in June is Hunger Awareness Week in Shelby County. There are numerous individuals and families in our county that struggle with this hunger. We live in a caring community and we need to work together to ensure that no one goes hungry.

We need your help! We are always in need of your donations to feed the hungry in Shelby County. In May 2017 alone, we gave out approximately 280 emergency food boxes. On an average, we hand out 15-20 per day. Those boxes include bread, meat, canned goods, drinks, produce, and other groceries.

If you would be interested in donating food, please drop it off at Shelby County Outreach Ministries, Inc. located at 930 Shelbyville Street Center, TX 75935. We are located on the corner of MLK and Shelbyville Street, directly beside the railroad tracks. Thank you in advance and God Bless you.
