SCOM to Close Early Friday for Independence Day

July 2, 2026 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries will be closing early tomorrow, July 3, at 1pm in observance of Independence Day.

All programs and services will end at 1pm, including Meals on Wheels, Helping Hands, The Unique Boutique, and the Senior Nutrition Site.

We thank you for your support and understanding. Have a safe and blessed holiday, and we will resume our regular operating hours on Monday.

Last Day to Purchase SCOM Tickets for Bad Boy Zero-turn

June 30, 2026 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries, Inc. is excited to remind the community that there is still time to purchase raffle tickets for our 2026 Bad Boy Avenger ZT zero-turn lawnmower fundraiser. This brand-new mower features a 60" deck and offers one blessed winner a powerful way to care for their property while supporting local families and seniors in need.

June 26, 2026 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries will have a booth at Frontier Days in Timpson today, Friday, June 26, and tomorrow, Saturday, June 27. We will be selling tickets for $20 each or 6 for $100. All proceeds will help us feed the hungry and assist those in need as we strive to be the hands and heart of Christ in our community. Drawing date is July 3rd.

SC Outreach Ministries Closure Continues Through Tuesday

January 26, 2026 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27 and, as of right now, we will open at 10am on Wednesday, January 28.

"Letter From Santa" Fundraiser

December 4, 2025 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries is excited to announce its annual "Letter From Santa" fundraiser, offering a special way to bring holiday cheer to local children while supporting the our vital community programs.

For just $10, each child will receive a personalized letter from Santa Claus himself, along with a festive Christmas ornament. It's a perfect, memorable gift that also contributes directly to the Ministry's efforts to help families in need across Shelby County.
