"Letter From Santa" Fundraiser

December 4, 2025 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries is excited to announce its annual "Letter From Santa" fundraiser, offering a special way to bring holiday cheer to local children while supporting the our vital community programs.

For just $10, each child will receive a personalized letter from Santa Claus himself, along with a festive Christmas ornament. It's a perfect, memorable gift that also contributes directly to the Ministry's efforts to help families in need across Shelby County.

November 24, 2025 - Get ready to rock around the Christmas tree! Shelby County Outreach Ministries is excited to announce its upcoming annual fundraiser, "Merry Christmas: Elvis Style." This festive event will feature world renown tribute artist, Kraig Parker as well as a special silent auction, and the we are putting out a call to local businesses and community members to donate items.

Shelby County Outreach Ministries, Inc. Resale Store Seeks Donations for Those in Need

November 11, 2025 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries, Inc. is reaching out to the community for support as the winter season approaches. The organization’s resale store, The Unique Boutique, is in urgent need of donations of essential cold-weather items to help local families and individuals stay warm.

2025 Polaris Could Be Yours Through SCOM Fundraiser

September 30, 2025 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries (SCOM) doesn’t want you to miss your chance to win a 2025 Polaris Sportsman 4-wheeler! The drawing for our exciting ATV fundraiser will be held this Saturday, October 4th, at the annual Poultry Festival. Tickets are $20 each or 6 tickets for $100.

Tickets can be purchased at Shelby County Outreach Ministries office or at our booth at the Poultry Festival from October 2nd through the 4th. All proceeds from the raffle will go directly to helping feed the hungry and assist the needy in our community.

SC outreach Ministries Announces New Hours

August 8, 2025 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries is pleased to announce new hours of operation for its Helping Hands Outreach Center. Starting Monday, August 11, 2025, our facility will be open from 9am to 3pm, Monday through Friday.

We are committed to feeding the hungry and assisting the needy in Shelby County, and these updated hours will allow us to do so more effectively. We would also like to remind all clients that they must be able to carry their own emergency food box or have someone with them who can carry it for them.
