Praise 2023 Thank You

February 14, 2023 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries would like to say thank you to all that supported Praise 2023.  It was a tremendous success.  It was a night full of food, fellowship, singing, auctions, and fun!  All proceeds made from Praise 2023 will go back into the community so we can continue to help feed the hungry and assist the needy in Shelby County.  We thank the Civic Center and Mr. Tommy Hughes for working with us on this event.

December 14, 2022 - The year of 2022 is almost over and Shelby County Outreach Ministries would like to thank everyone for their support.  We are seeing more people in need and would like to ask you to consider us when you are making your end-of-the-year contributions.  Because of partners like you, people have not gone to bed hungry and have had their emergency needs met through our client assistance program.  Our organization helps the people of Shelby County with several emergency needs such as food, clothing utility assistance, emergency shelter, and more.  We are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofi

Outreach Ministries Receives John R. Harris Grant; Expresses Gratitude

September 19, 2022 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries (SCOM) was the recipient of the John R. Harris Grant this year. SCOM is honored and blessed to receive these grant funds. This grant will be used to help feed the hungry and assist the needy in Shelby County.

Outreach Ministries is striving to be the hands and heart of Christ in our community. This grant will allow us to purchase food for emergency food boxes, assist with utility bills, doctor visits, medications, emergency lodging, and so much more!

Outreach Ministries Seeking Sponsors for Annual ATV Raffle Fundraiser

September 14, 2022 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries is currently having our annual ATV Raffle Fundraiser and seeking sponsors for this event. There are multiple levels of sponsorship. All sponsors will have their names collectively placed on a large banner, which will hang at our 2022 Poultry Festival booth. They will also receive recognition through our local media sources, which include online, newspaper, and radio.
