February 26, 2026 - Shelby County Precinct 1 is accepting sealed bids for one (1) 40’ x 14’ steel bridge, consisting of two sections sold together as a single complete bridge. The sections will require welding to be joined.
The bridge may be inspected at the Precinct 1 County Barn, located at 1333 Southview Circle, Center, Texas 75935.
The buyer will be responsible for all costs and arrangements associated with moving the bridge sections. Pickup must be completed within ten (10) days.
Sealed bids may be submitted by:
- U.S. Mail to: Shelby County Courthouse, 200 San Augustine Street, Box A, Center, Texas 75935
- or delivered in person to the Commissioners’ Secretary Office, located on the first floor of the Shelby County Courthouse.
The envelope must be clearly marked: “SEALED BID – BRIDGE.”
All submissions must be received no later than 2pm on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.
Bids will be opened on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 9:30am in the Shelby County Courthouse during Commissioners Court.
