April 25, 2022 - Shelbyville High School Academic UIL students competed at the Region III-AA Academic UIL Meet at Panola College on April 22nd and 23rd.

Aubree Camp – 2nd Place Persuasive Speaking
Ava Silva – 2nd Place Informative Speaking
Kason Parker, Kiana Bennett, Malachi Sierra, Elizabeth Marin – 2nd Place Number Sense Team
These competitors are coached by Cole Harrison (Number Sense), Mario Osby (Computer Applications), and Emily Sowell (Informative Speaking, Persuasive Speaking, and Lincoln Douglas Debate).
Kason Parker and Shiloh Amburn will compete at the Academic UIL Non-Speech State Meet on the University of Texas at Austin campus on May 6th.
Naomi Caporali, Dawson Jackson, Aubree Camp, and Ava Silva will compete at the Academic UIL Speech State Meet on the University of Texas at Austin campus on May 24th and 25th.
