October 10, 2022 - After opening ceremonies of the East Texas Poultry Festival, elementary kids took to the stage to sing enduring favorites of the festival.

The Shelbyville 4th grade students performed a Flashback to the Past with songs like "Rockin' Robin," "Yakety Yak," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Jail House Rock," "Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini," "The Twist," and "We Go Together."

The F.L. Moffett students preformed festival favorites like the "Chicken" song, the "Chicken Dance Song," "It's a Beautiful Day," "Funky Chicken Strut," “Oh, I Love America,” "Bright Happy Day," “We Are Thankful for the U. S. A.,” and "Agents of Change."
