October 29, 2024 - Congratulations to the Shelbyville Dragon Band as they advance to the Finals Round of the UIL State Military Marching Contest. After a well performed Preliminary Round, the Dragon band along with four other 2A bands were selected from a class of eleven bands, to proceed to the next round of competition. The band will perform their Finals performance at 7pm tonight at Baylors, McLane Stadium. They are followed by Timpson, Union Grove, Hemphill and Carlisle High School.
