November 3, 2021 - State Highway 7 East and Loop 500 was the scene of a major two-vehicle collision Wednesday, November 3, 2021.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash at around 5pm and when they arrived a brown 2013 Toyota Avalon had serious damage to the front end and remained in the outer westbound traffic lane.
Another vehicle involved, a grey 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 was pulled a short distance away from the crash scene and parked on the shoulder.
The driver of the Toyota was transported by ambulance to Nacogdoches Medical Center - Shelby Emergency Department for medical evaluation.
