May 31, 2020 - Center Police Officers engaged in a long distance high-speed pursuit Saturday, May 30, 2020, following an initial attempt to stop the suspect vehicle at State Highway 87 South and Loop 500.
Following the chase which extended to the north part of the county and through Joaquin, the officers were able to bring the vehicle to a halt on CR 3000 at CR 3173 where a PIT maneuver was utilized around 3pm.
Those within the vehicle were taken into custody without incident and transported from the location by Center Police Department units. The only available information at the time of the incident is the driver was a juvenile.
Tenaha Police Department officers assisted Center Police Officers in this incident.
