May 20, 2026 - Tayley Williams, a third grader from Timpson, Texas, has been nominated to the United States Specialty Sports Association (“USSSA”) All-State fastpitch softball team for 2026.
Tayley plays third base for Lightning 2035, a travel softball team based in Hallsville, Texas. Tayley received this prestigious nomination based on her talent, work ethic, attitude, and sportsmanship.
As a USSSA All-State player, Tayley is eligible to compete in the All-State Event in Burleson, Texas, during August 2026, and the National All-State event in Vera Beach, Florida, in December.
All-State Players will be placed on teams with other nominees to compete in the All-State games. Teams will be coached by nominated coaches and college players.
Tayley is the nine-year old daughter of Taylor and Whitley Williams. Her biggest fan is her little brother, Dozier Williams.
