Lila Rafferty Qualifies to Compete at World’s Largest Junior High Rodeo

June 17, 2025 – Lila Rafferty, a 5th-grade student at Joaquin Elementary School has earned a position on the Louisiana state/provincial National Junior High rodeo team and will be traveling with fellow teammates to Des Moines, IA June 22nd thru June 28th to compete at the 20th annual National Junior High Finals Rodeo (NJHFR) in barrel Racing competition.

Panola County Republican Women Fundraiser

June 24, 2016 - The Panola County Republican Women will host is fundraiser this Saturday, June 25. Rep. Louie Gohmert will be the keynote speaker. Doors open at 5. Tickets are $35 at the door. Musical Entertainment will be by Mark Harris and Rodney Wotten. The silent auction will start at 5 pm, dinner will start at 6pm and at 7pm the live auction will begin.
