Team of SC Constables Deliver Support to San Augustine

May 7, 2019 - A strong tornado which blew through San Augustine County and parts of Shelby County caused significant damage on April 24, 2019, to parts of San Augustine. 

In effort to assist those in need as a result of the incident, on April 30, 2019 a group of Shelby County Constables put together their resources to deliver supplies of food and water to San Augustine.

The constables gathered at Double J BBQ in Shelbyville where Hagler prepared 100 half chicken plates. Nuverra Environmental Solutions contributed two pallets of bottled water and Quick Stop of Joaquin (Robin Connell) donated several cases of carbonated beverages.

Brookshire Brothers of Joaquin provided water and paper products and Whataburger of Joaquin contributed supplies as well. Raymond Construction also contributed to the constables efforts.
