June 13, 2023 - Tenaha Independent School District will be participating in the following Federal Programs during the 2023-2024 school year:
- Title l, Part A - Improving Basic Programs Operated by Local Education Agencies
- Title l, Part C - Education of Migratory Children
- Title ll, Part A - Supporting Effective Instruction
- Title lll, Part A - English Language Acquisition
- Title lV, Part A - Student Support and Academic Enrichment
- Perkins V - Strengthening Career and Technical Education
- Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA-B Formula and Preschool)
Teachers, Paraprofessionals, Principals, Other School Personnel, Parents, Community Members, and Business Representatives, are invited to the 2023-2024 meeting on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 5pm to be held at Tenaha Independent School District Board Room. The focus of this meeting will include planning the 2023-2024 program activities and receiving input into the preparation of the application for funding. A key focus will be the coordination and integration of these funding sources and programs into the educational system of Tenaha Independent School District.
Title l, Part A Schoolwide Campuses Only
During the meeting, staff from Title l Schoolwide Campuses will present parents with a draft of a Title l, Part A Parent and Family Engagement Policy and School/Parent Compact/Pledge. We are requesting input for these two documents to ensure that Parent Involvement is exemplary.
