Tenaha ISD Honors All Veterans

November 16, 2015 - The Tenaha ISD Junior High and High School Beta Club presented the annual Veterans Day Program on November 11th. The students presented a brief history of the wars America has fought. The students also set up an Honor Table to symbolize the veterans who did not return home from duty.

The Roarin Band from Tiger Land showed their support to Veterans through their performance of the “Star Spangled Banner” and “Armed Forces on Parade.” Band member JR Wagstaff played Taps.

Tenaha Third grade class honored all Veterans by singing a song about the Constitution. The Tenaha Fourth graders expressed their gratitude to all Veterans with their performance of “Thank You Soldiers”. Tenaha Band Director, Mr. Rhett Pilcher, concluded the program with a beautiful rendition of “God Bless America.”
