Don't be a Grinch - Shop Local and Support Timpson
December 6, 2023 - The Timpson Area Chamber of Commerce and Timpson Economic Development Corporation invites everyone to shop local in our taxing district. Shoppers have a chance to win by shopping local. Everyone wins by supporting our local businesses.
SUBMIT your receipts from Thursday, November 30, 2023 – December 22, 2023 for chance to win $500!
- Receipts must be from businesses (stores and restaurants) within our taxing zip code 75975.
- Excluded receipts: Purchases under $50, Gasoline/Diesel, and Non Taxable Grocery receipts.
- Turn in single receipt totaling $50 in taxable purchases (sales tax $4.13 or more) to qualify for the drawing.
- Enter as many times as your shopping receipts qualify between November 30 and December 22.
- Receipts are to be turned into City Hall or scanned and emailed to citysecretary@cityoftimpson.com by 3pm December 22nd.
- Receipt must include Name of Business, Amount of Tax, and Date of Purchase to be entered.
- Winner does Not have to be a resident of Timpson to Win.
Drawing will be held at 5pm on December 22nd. Two chances to win. Winner number one wins $500 from the Economic Development Corporation. Winner number two wins $500 from the Timpson Area Chamber of Commerce.
