December 27, 2024 - The “Soft Opening” for Switch Tie Game Room, located inside Tie and Timber Lodging & Event Center, 397 Jacob Street downtown Timpson will be Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 1pm.

December 11, 2024 - The Timpson Area Chamber of Commerce and Timpson Voluntary Fire Department invites all parade attendees and spectators to come enjoy Timpson’s Lighted Christmas Parade on Thursday, December 12 with line up at 5:30pm in front of Timpson High School. Parade starts at approximately 6pm and will be the same parade route through downtown Timpson.

September 24, 2024 - Local churches and Timpson Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor Timpson’s Annual Trunk or Treat Saturday, October 26 on the Downtown square Plaza in Timpson starting at 5:30pm ending at 7pm. 

Front Street will be closed by 5 o’clock, so get your trunks backed up to the square before then. Please encourage your church to participate. 

No cars moving on street after 5pm. No traffic will be allowed to enter or leave front street during event. 

May 13, 2024 - Timpson Area Chamber of Commerce brings to our community, Frontier Days 2024, sixty second annual event to downtown Timpson, July4th through July 7th. Again, you can enjoy downtown activities, Gospel singing concert on Friday, July 5th at Timpson First Baptist church. Expect plenty children’s activities downtown Thursday, Friday evenings and all-day Saturday starting right after the parade. Including car show immediately after parade. Dancing in the streets all 3 nights. Community service Sunday evening.

February 23, 2024 - Timpson Food for Thought Thrift Store will host its first Spring Sidewalk Sale the second weekend in March. We are inviting the public to come and shop with us, as well as inviting vendors to set up in the parking lot to sell alongside us. We are charging $25 to set up and sell to the public. Your donation of $25 goes directly to the Food Bank. Your proceeds over the 3-day period are yours to keep.
