September 27, 2016 - Thursday, October 6th Timpson 2016 Homecoming parade will start at 6 PM with line up in Athletic parking lot at 5:30. Pep-Rally downtown starts immediately after Parade, downtown on front street.
Floats from past Timpson graduating classes will be recognized. Trophies for Best High school float, middle school float and others to be announced. No JV or Jr High game that evening is schedule. This is a Timpson Area Chamber of Commerce event.

June 29, 2016 - Timpson's Annual Frontier Days events will begin Thursday, June 30th with the opening of the Carnival downtown and the Gospel Singing at the First Baptist Church, (First Baptist Church Timpson Facebook) located at 715 N 2nd Str. The Gospel Singing will start at 7pm with The Calvary Boys, Calvary Boys Trio, Grounded and The Master's Men.
