Timpson Chamber Announces Frontier Day Queen, Duchess

July 30, 2022 - Timpson Area Chamber of Commerce announces 2022 Frontier Day Queen and 2022 Frontier Day Duchess.

2022 Miss Frontier Day Queen Haylee Eaves

Haylee is the daughter of Krystal Wheless and Doug Eaves, Jr. Her siblings include Lilly Wheless, Brantley Wheless, Ayden Eaves, and Devin Eaves. Haylee attends Timpson High School, where she is an upcoming Senior. She is a Varsity softball player, Varsity Cheerleader, 3-time UCA All-American Cheerleader, she is a member of the UIL news writing staff placing 5th at regional meet, she is also a member of Junior Chamber of Commerce. This is what being the 2022 Miss Frontier Days Queen means to her, "It is more than just a crown and title. It is about representing the town of Timpson that I love and has always allowed me to thrive." Throughout her reign as 2022 Miss Frontier Days Queen Haylee hopes to represent not only the town of Timpson but also Shelby County with honor, grace, and dignity. And hopefully can give something back to her hometown and community by inspiring others to become involved.

2022 Miss Frontier Day’s Duchess Catherine Searcy

Catherine is the daughter of Joe and Staci Searcy of Timpson, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Steve and Diane Silvertooth of Kilgore, Texas and the late William Searcy and Peggy Searcy of Henderson, Texas.

Catherine is a senior at Timpson High School. She has been a member of FFA for five years, and she will be serving as the Secretary on the Timpson FFA Chapter Officer Team for the 2022-2023 school year. Catherine has been recognized for her outstanding performance in the agriculture issues category in Prepared Speaking, as well as winning her category at the FFA District convention and placing 2nd at Area convention in May. Catherine was awarded Top Lamb Exhibitor, Top Prepared Speaker, and Top Ten FFA Member. Catherine is also an active member of the Beta Club, as well as a High Honor student. She was recently awarded the 3R award which is presented to two students in each grade level to recognize their Respect for Authority, Regard for others Rights, and Responsibility for Self. Lastly, Catherine was recognized as an Outstanding English Student.

Catherine is honored to serve as Miss Frontier Days Duchess. During her reign, she hopes to encourage and promote community involvement, school spirit, and to inspire the young girls of Timpson to achieve their educational goals, as well as their personal goals.
