December 3, 2024 - Notice is hereby given that an Emergency meeting of the Governing Body of the above named City or Town will be held on the 3rd day of December at 5:30 p.m, in the City Hall, 456 Jacob St. Timpson, Texas, and the subject of said meeting will be:
Item 1. Call to Order & announce quorum established
Item 2. Consider authorizing the repair of water leak in a 2" line near US Hwy 59 and David Lee Lane using Duplichain Contractors for labor and equipment.
Item 3. Discuss the emergent need to purchase a digger truck for the electric department. Authorize the mayor to enter a sealed bid to Deep East Texas Electric Coop for a 47' 2014 International Digger Truck "as is". This emergency authorization is based on LGC Title 8 Subtitle A Chapter 252 Subchapter B 252.022 Items 1 &. 2
