March 13, 2025 - Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the governing body of the above-named City will be held on the 18th day of March, 2025 at 5:30 pm at Timpson City Hall, 456 Jacob Street, Timpson, Texas, at which time the following subjects will be considered, to-wit:

9. Discuss and take action: Consider approval for Kyle Edwards, E-5 Construction to secure electricians to complete the electrical portion of the Municipal Utility Bldg under construction. The amount was listed in his original bid at $8500.00 BUT WAS NOT part of his construction bid.
10. Discuss and take action: Consider renewing the ONE YEAR mowing contract with Justin Yoder — City Parks, RR ROW and other city owned properties. No change in contract pricing or mowing parameters.
11. Discuss and take action: Consider hiring Leticia Poindexter for the position of City Secretary at a rate of $17.00 per hour; benefits and PTO per employment policy. Pay rate to be evaluated at 90 days and if approved by the mayor rate would be increased to $18.00/hr. Employment to start on 3/21/2025 90 day Friday Aug 1. Holiday pay to start after Aug 1.
12. Discuss and take action: Consider posting new office hours for City Hall to take effect Tuesday, May 27th 2025. Office opens at 8am, closed for lunch 12:30; open 1:30 - 5pm Mon thru Thursday. Friday office hours 8 am till 4 pm (not closed at lunch) Total 40 hrs
