August 29, 2019 - Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the governing body of the City of Timpson will be held on the 5th day of September 2019 at 5:15 pm at the City Hall, 456 Jacob Street, Timpson, Texas, at which time the following subjects will be considered, to-wit:
1. Executive Session: The City Council will convene into Executive Session in accordance with Texas Government Code Section 551.071 for the purpose of consultation with legal counsel regarding legal matters related to City of Timpson’s budget, financial condition, and possible reduction in force to improve City’s financial condition.
2. Discuss and take action: Ordinance 20190926-1 adopting the Final General Budget
for the fiscal year 2019-2020.
3. Discuss and take action: Personnel changes within the Police Department due to budgetary concerns in the General Budget for 2019-20.
4. Discuss and take action: Approve the 2013 PD Tahoe to be repaired by David’s Auto & Diesel Repair Shop.
5. Adjourn.
