Timpson Frontier Days, 1962 – 2025, Downtown, Timpson, Texas
May 30, 2025 - This year’s Frontier Days will be Thursday, July 10th through Sunday, July 13th. Wet 'N Wild inflatables will be open both Friday and Saturday. On both days the inflatable hours will be from 11am till closing. Closing times will be determined by Wet 'N Wild and the Chamber of Commerce. The Ticket price for Wet 'N Wild will be $15 per day per ticket and $25 for both days per ticket. Tickets will be sold at a ticket counter on the plaza and will be operated by Wet 'N Wild. This year the vendors and craft booths will be located on the side of the gazebo.
Schedule of events, arts and crafts booths, and food trucks available to open Thursday evening and Friday and Saturday all day and will be located on the downtown plaza.
Thursday, July 10 - Gospel Concert featuring The Calvary Boys at First Baptist Church starting at 6:30 with tickets sold at the door. Entertainment downtown on stage under tent (TBA). Dancing with DJ Berio in the streets under tent, starts at 7pm till 10pm.
Friday, July 11 - Wet 'N Wild opens at 11am - closing. Dancing with DJ Berio in the streets under tent, starts at 7pm till 10pm.
Saturday, July 12 - The parade starts at 10am, line up at the school softball field at 9:15am. Opening ceremonies, welcome, prayer starts at 11am including introduction of guest. Washer pitching starts after parade. Car show starts immediately after parade on Austin street (back street downtown). Wet 'N Wild opens after parade and entertainment on the streets and under the tent will go on all afternoon. Timson Cheerleaders and twirlers performance starts at 7pm and cake auction starts at 8pm. Dancing in the streets with headliner band from 9pm till 11pm.
About the band - Band performing is the Steve Murray band featuring Steve Murray and former lead singer from Perfect Stranger, with radio hits that include “Right to Remain Silent,” “Riding the Rodeo,” and more. Featuring Branson’s super star Trey Wilson on vocals, producer and engineer Jimmy Taylor on bass. Chad Ware with the Tracy Byrd band on guitar, Joe Smith on keys and our hometown celebrity Jason Pate on drums. Band will play country hits from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Dancing in the streets will be allowed and encouraged.
Sunday, July 13 - Community church downtown under tent starts at 6pm. Bring your lawn chairs.
