March 22, 2018 - Timpson ISD Bear Update

The Timpson FFA Chapter participated in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, March 7th-15th.
Hunter Sample – Class 6 Market Lambs there were 91 in the class.
Jarrett Page – Class 57 Market Hog there were 47 in the class
Macey Jo Hanson – Class 91 Market Hog there were 41 in the class and she placed 11th.
The Heifer Show team exhibited Santa Gertrudis and Simmental Heifers on March 9th and 10th.
Baylor Kimbro exhibited the Calf Division Champion with MCC Flo. Out of 2029 heifers at the show, a record for HLSR, his heifer stood as one of the three best Santa Gertrudis and in the top 54 heifers in the entire show.
Ally Kimbro placed 5th in a large class with MCC Winstar.
Mayson Harbison placed 5th in a large class with MCC Lolly
April Ramsey placed 4th in a very competitive class with Denali E1 MH.
