November 12, 2025 - (Album) - Timpson ISD held its annual Veterans Day program on November 11, 2025, in the Timpson ISD Collegiate Center.
17 veterans were honored during the program and were introduced by LeeAnn Masterson, Timpson Elementary School; and Jason Crow, Timpson High School.
The veterans recognized included: James Box - Army; Jim Crump - Army; Roy Drake - Army; Cedrick Grace - Army; William Hart - Army; Matthew Leigeber - Marines; Norman Logsdon - Army & Navy; Richard Lundie - Army; Dennis Mince - Marines; Mihaela Munday - Romanian Army; Jerry Neel - Navy; Charles Newton - Air Force; Larry Ramsey - Marines; Vernett Richardson - Navy; Randall Sepulvado - Army; Willie West - Army; and Marvin E. (Fred ) Wilcox - Marines.
Each of the veterans were escorted in and took a seat in the middle of the collegiate center. Calvin Smith, Timpson Elementary School Assistant Principal, welcomed all in attendance and Dr. Glenn Hambrick offered the invocation.
Sherri Strahan performed the National Anthem and received resounding applause from the audience.
The patriotic event was accompanied by music provided by the Timpson High School band and Timpson ISD students posted the colors.
Fred Wilcox gave final remarks and offered the benediction.
When the program adjourned, the veterans were treated to a lunch in the Timpson High School Library.
