November 10, 2023 - (Photo Album) - Timpson ISD hosted a Veterans Day program on Thursday, November 9, 2023, in the Collegiate and Events Center.
Dr. Mid Johnson, Timpson ISD Superintendent, opened the program and Chris Nickleberry, Middle School Principal, welcomed all in attendance for the event.
“We would like to thank the veterans for their sacrifice, so we can enjoy the freedoms we experience each day,” said Nickleberry.
Sherri Strahan, Superintendent’s Secretary, sang the ‘Star Spangled Banner’ during the gathering.

A group of students presented the Colors during the program and Fred Wilcox received them. Kindergarteners and elementary students each had the opportunity to present gifts to the veterans.
The program was closed by Jerrod Campbell, Timpson High School Principal.
