Timpson "Trunk or Treat" Has First Ever Zombie Walk

November 2, 2015 (Album1, Album2) The streets of Timpson were crawling with children and adults clad in all sorts of costumes on Halloween night Saturday, October 31, 2015 and the first ever Zombie Walk was the main event.

Vehicles were parked around the Timpson square for the "Trunk or Treat" offering candy to trick or treaters as they walked the sidewalk for the Timpson Ministerial Alliance & The Timpson Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored event. During the evening a costume contest was held as well as a contest for the best decorated trunk.

A crowd of princesses, goblins, zombies, cowboys and all form of costumes were on display as the judges reviewed them all to decide the best costumes in the boys and girls categories.

Costume contest winners:
Boys: Lynk Stokes "The Lion" won $25 donated by Mayor Debra Pate Smith.
Girls: Camrie Flanery "Cowgirl" won $25 donated by Mayor Debra Pate Smith.

Best Trunk
Pam and Larry Franklin won $50 donated by Mayor Debra Pate Smith.

Zombie Walk winners (Prizes sponsored by Timpson Quick Stop, Menzies, Premium Graphics, Factory Direct, Frontier Cafe & Gerald Mackey Insurance):
Best Zombie - Lauren Branch won $200.
Next Best Zombie - Kent Brown and Kendal Brown won $120.
Almost Alive Zombie - Weston Van Haute won $80.
