March 7, 2025 - FM 415 was the scene of a grass fire on Sunday, March 2, 2025.
When Timpson Volunteer Fire Department personnel arrived at the scene just under 2 1/2 miles from SH 87 on FM 415, a large area of grass between a pond and a house had been burned as evidenced by the scorched earth. Flames were still continuing beyond the burned area toward a house on the property and in the direction of FM 415.
The firefighters made quick work of extinguishing the flames and preventing any danger to the house nearby.
