TMRA Holds Texas Tiddler Endurance Run

June 2, 2017 - (Album) - Texas Motorcycle Roadriders Association (TMRA), Area C, held their annual Texas Tiddler Endurance Run on May 20 at Boles Field.

The event was held for fun and to promote motorcycle safety and awareness. Several sponsors helped get the event rolling including Sabine State Bank.

Two separate runs were held throughout the day and several classes were awarded at the end of the day. The first run was scheduled to begin at 8am and ran until 12noon. The second began at 1pm and ran until 6pm.

Each run was timed, but not to judge who could arrive the fastest, instead who arrived on time. Anyone early, or 15 minutes late would be docked points.

Before the second run took place, a slow race was held with several riders involved.

At the end of the day after all the riders had returned Dennis Leggett, Area A Vice President, presented awards made by Skip Gibson to class winners.

Class winners as follows:
Class 1: 50CC - Lee Coltharp
Class 2: 61CC-125CC - David Fogle
Class 3: 250CC - Roger Cox
Class 4: Stock Cushman - "Super" Dave Baamonde
Class 5: Homemade Bike - James Whiddon

Longest Distance: Tony Swain 15 hours from Davenport, Iowa
Oldest Tiddler: Roger Cox
Most Unique: David Fogle and his MB-5

Overall Trophy: Lee Coltharp (Highest score)

Roger Cox was the winner of the 250CC division.

Class 4 division winner  "Super" Dave Baamonde won for his Stock Cushman.

Receiving the Homemade Bike trophy on behalf of James Whiddon was Dennis Leggett.

The longest distance award was presented to Tony Swain, who traveled 15 hours from Davenport, Iowa to participate in the event.

Roger Cox was presented the trophy for the Oldest Tiddler.

David Fogle was awarded the Most Unique trophy for his MB-5.
