April 13, 2021 - U.S. Highway 59 just outside of Timpson was the scene of a single-vehicle crash Friday, April 9, 2021 around 5:30pm.
According to Texas Department of Public Safety State Trooper Taylor Buster, a grey 2018 Nissan Rogue driven by Gabriel Brandt Fleming, 31, of Timpson with passenger Heather Fleming, 27, was southbound on U.S. Highway 59 just before FM 2667 at an unsafe speed.
The Nissan hydroplaned, leaving the roadway to the right and jumping a culvert before flipping several times. The vehicle came to rest on the southbound shoulder, facing the roadway.
No injuries were reported of the driver and Heather Fleming received non-incapacitating injury.
Trooper Buster was assisted at the scene by Josh Tipton, Constable Precinct 5; Timpson Volunteer Fire Department personnel and Sam Anderson, Texas Game Warden.
