May 8, 2019 - A truck load of vegetables spread across the roadside of U.S. Highway 96 North just south of CR 3770 following a single-vehicle crash Wednesday, May 8, 2019.

According to Texas Department of Public Safety State Trooper Taylor Buster, at 9:30am a white Isuzu Diesel FTR box truck owned by MFC Food Service and driven by Yuanbo Qi, 40, of Houston was northbound on U.S. Highway 96 North when he failed to drive in a single lane leaving the road to the right.

Qi brought the Isuzu back onto the roadway and overcorrected taking faulty evasive action which caused the vehicle to roll onto it's passenger side and skid along the roadway before coming to rest in the outside lane.

No injuries were reported of Qi and he was cited for fail to drive in a single lane.

While the crash location was being worked, Tenaha Volunteer Fire Department diverted traffic around the scene until it was cleared at 12:50pm.
