March 7, 2017 - Shelby County Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8904, Center, Texas and the Auxiliary are proud to announce that Center High School teacher Adam Ramirez has been selected as the post Teacher of the Year, grades 9 – 12.
Mr. Ramirez teaches basic and advanced graphic design and illustration. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a Major in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Houston. He has taught at Center ISD since 2013.
Adam has been nominated for competition at the district level and the results should be known by the end of the month. The winner of the district competition then competes at the state VFW level for the right to represent Texas at the national level. Congratulations Adam Ramirez.
