Wilburn Arrested on Drug Related Charges

May 2, 2019 - Roger Eugene Wilburn, 50, of Joaquin was arrested May 1, 2019, on an outstanding warrant out of Shelby County Constable Precinct 3 Roy Cheatwood’s office for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

On this same date, a warrant was served on Wilburn for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance (F-2). This arrest came as a result of an ongoing narcotics investigation conducted by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.

Over the past several months, the SCSO and Constable Cheatwood have fielded several complaints stemming from the residence of Wilburn located at 305 Childress St. in Joaquin. Multiple arrests have been made recently at this residence on Childress Street ranging from drug related arrests, public intoxication and outstanding warrants.

Wilburn is currently being held at the Shelby County Jail on charges including POCS (F-4) $50,000 Pre-Set Bond; Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance (F-2) $20,000 Bond; Criminal Non-Support $10,000 Cash Bond; and Burglary of a Building (Panola County Charge).
