June 23, 2021 – With new and emerging diseases such as the Delta COVID-19 variant, as well as existing diseases that continue to impact the health of East Texans, nurses and patient care techs are more important than ever to helping save lives. National Nursing Assistants Week, which runs through June 23, is a time to recognize all nursing assistants who care for patients under the direct supervision of doctors and nurses. 

NMC Recognized for Clinical Excellence in Patient Satisfaction, Wound Healing Rates

April 15, 2021 – The Wound Care Center at Nacogdoches Medical Center (NMC) has earned a Center of Distinction award by Healogics•, a national provider of advanced wound care services. The award recognizes NMC’s Wound Care Center for achieving outstanding clinical outcomes for twelve consecutive months, including patient satisfaction rates higher than 92 percent and a minimum wound healing rate of at least 92 percent within 28 median days to heal. There were 555 Centers eligible for the Center of Distinction award and 278 achieved the honor.

Kyle Coffin DDS Announces Office Re-Opens May 4th

May 1, 2020 - Beginning Monday, May 4th the dental office of Dr. Kyle S. Coffin will return to normal business hours.
