January 12, 2026 - January City of Center will have a contractor replace a manhole on Tenaha St. at Henrietta St. on January 13, 2026, Tuesday.

Henrietta St intersection will be closed to thru traffic, Northbound traffic on Tenaha St will be detoured down Foster St. Traffic on Tenaha St. headed towards square will be allowed to continue thru.

Please use caution when traveling thru this area, Work will begin at 8am and last majority of the day.

Planned Maintenance Notice System Outage

November 4, 2025 - The City of Center will be updating our payment processing systems beginning November 4 , 2025 at 6pm. Full services for financial transactions are expected to be restored before the start of business November 6, 2025.

May 20, 2025 - City of Center will be closing a section of Crawford Street to through traffic on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 7:30am until 1pm.

Barricades will be placed at Wulf Creek entrance and second bridge at Creek for water repairs. Customers will be able to have access to their residence on each side of closure. Customers in Wulf Creek will need to use SH 7 side entrance.

December 23, 2024 - On the weeks of Christmas and New Year’s Day, City of Center residential trash services will not run on Wednesdays.

The rest of the week will run one day behind.

Updated: As of 12:45 the repair to this main was completed and system pressure should begin to return to normal conditions.
